Area Churches Help Haiti, Themselves

Since the devastating Haiti earthquake many groups have rushed to help, but one group in Gainesville is a little different than most.

TV20's Josh Rosenthal tells us that congregations from two different churches are working together and leaders say that in helping the Haitian people, they've helped themselves too.

Supplies Needed for Haiti Relief

Below is a list of items that the people in Haiti desperately need. We have a trailer on the PASSAGE campus that is accepting donations for when we visit Haiti. Please help where you can!

Medical Supplies:

First Aid: (band aids, ace wraps, bandages, antibiotic ointment)
Surgical dressings, gloves, bandage rolls, butterfly closures, peroxide, rubbing alcohol, hand sanitizer, masks, medical scissors, medical tape
OTC (over the counter) meds: pain relievers: NSAIDS: Ibuprofen (Advil®, Motrin®)
Tylenol®: children, adult, infant drops
Multivitamins: adults and children
Other: eye drops, hydrocortisone cream, antacids, Pepto Bismol®, antidiarrheals
Splints, crutches, walkers, canes, wheelchairs, slings

EVERYDAY

Pray for Love to rule. (1 John 4:8, 1 Cor. 13:1-2)

Pray for yourself, the unsaved, the hurting, for forgiveness, and more Kingdom Workers (disciples). (1 John 5:14-15, Phil. 4:6-7, 2 Peter 3:9, Matt. 11:28, John 14:27, 2 Cor. 2:10-11, Matt. 9:37-38)
