Habbakuk 2:2-3

"If you are not passionate about something, mediocrity (by default) will be your pursuit."

Pastor Dix encouraged PASSAGE partners to get passionate about our God.  As we begin our daily tasks, we should step out of our comfort zones to spread the Good News to those we meet (whether we're in the grocery store, on our jobs, or at home).

When we become citizens of The Eagle Culture, we can declare what is ours outside of the 4 walls of the church.  Pastor encouraged everyone to learn PASSAGE's "Profile":

  • Word-based
  • Vision-driven
  • Kingdom-focused

He also encouraged us to learn Our Vision:

Our vision is to win families and communities to Christ, and to inspire and train believers to become active disciples as we build a diverse, Word-based ministry that meets the spirtual and temporal needs of thousands of children and adults.

We will accomplish this vision by following our shepherd as he follows Christ, and by faithfully putting into practice our individual talents and gifts and liberally giving of our time and resources to Kingdom Work.

... and Our Mission statement

Our mission is to reach people where they are - whatever their spiritual condition - and in harmony with GOD, lead them to their divinely appointed place in Him.

In closing, Pastor said that everyone should pray prior to writing the vision for their lives, ensuring that their vision for their lives aligns with God's. (Habbakuk 2:2-3)

  • Habbakuk 2:2-3 - "And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry."
