(Deuteronomy 11:13-17 and Galatians 6:9 )

God knows us, He loves us and wants to do a new thing in us (Isaiah 43:19). Pastor George Dix began his message by reminding us that we must position ourselves so that God can have his way in our lives. God is not diminished by our circumstances for "God is still God", whether it rains or shines. If God (Jehovah-Sabboath, commander of Angelic armies) delivered Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego (Daniel 3), we know He can move mountains in our lives. God is able!

God knows your every step and he knows what it will take to get you out of the mess you've gotten yourself into.

Pastor went on to say, that as sure as we're sitting here today, there is a shift going on in the spirit realm. God has been waiting for us to "get into position". We're not going to be where we are for much longer. Major breakthroughs are about to be birthed in our lives. When the shift happens, you don't want to be "on the wall" as a spectator. God wants you to be a participant in the "5 fold release".

God has given us the combination to the lock and he wants to release His spirit in a powerful way. If you don't know God, get to know Him and "come clean with God".

The Lord has preparing us for this shift for a long time now (John 14) . Perhaps you haven't been in tune with what God has been saying to you. Don't stand on Man's word and remind blind. Stand on God's Word and see! (2 Corinthians 4:4-7)

Our wings need to be strengthened. No more excuses. God says "Come to Me as you are!"

In closing, Pastor listed the ways we can prepare to come into the New Season:

  1. Don't worship other "gods" (i.e. any person or thing that you focus on more than God).
  2. Act like you know who you are and who God is!
  3. Praise God! Find that new joy!
  4. Get some fire in your bones! (Jeremiah 20:9) Seek eagerly the presence of God and worship Him from deep in your belly!
  5. Trust God no matter what. If your situation looks bad, don't be weary in your well doing (Galatians 6:9)

Quote of the sermon:
