 Mission Statement: Our mission is to bring women into an intimate relationship with Jesus Christ, thereby providing opportunities for women to fulfill their calling to share in the Great Commission Christ gave to His church. Our purpose is to create a loving atmosphere of integrity and acceptance through service to others and through life enriching fellowship activities.

Ministry Overview 

Monthly Fellowship

The Ladies of PASSAGE meet the fourth Thursday of every month from 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm. This evening of fellowship is the ministry’s tireless efforts to assist all women by meeting their spiritual and temporal needs and encouraging and assisting them to change their lives through comforting, peaceful, informative and fun fellowship. Through our fellowship gatherings and ongoing workshops, women of all ages have been provided access to education, childcare, financial assistance, personal health and well-being information and mentoring.

Women’s Conference

Our bi-annual Women’s Conference which is held over three days includes several workshops that will minister to the hearts of all women. Bringing in respected women of God from various backgrounds and ministries to conduct workshops, worship, dance, and other activities is the LOP’s way to foster their mission to bring women into an intimate relationship with Christ.

Twilight Encounter

Twilight Encounter is the Ladies of PASSAGE (LOP) Women’s Ministry’s evening of worship. Held semi-annually, from 8:00 p.m. – 3:30 a.m., this evening was created to afford all women the opportunity to worship Christ in their own way.  Through song, dance, poetry, prayer and other expressions of worship, women open themselves to the transformation of the Holy Spirit. Intercessory Prayer is the cornerstone of the evening as the LOP stand in the gap for all women in need. We endeavor to provide all women who attend a sanctuary for self discovery in Christ which will lead to their spiritual recovery. This area of ministry is open to all women.

For the Love of the Girls

This spring luncheon gives an opportunity for women to salute the important women in their lives.  From mothers, sisters, aunts, grandmothers to sister friends, ministry leaders, co-workers, community leaders or any other woman who has been instrumental in our daily walk, this is our time to celebrate them.  Ladies even have an opportunity to nominate women in several different categories such as Proverbs 31 Woman, Ms. Congeniality, and Unsung Hero to name a few for our awards portion of the program. Come out and join us as we celebrate the whole woman.

First Ladies Brunch/Lunch

This event is the first of its kind in North Central Florida.  This brunch/lunch led by Lady Michele Dix will bring all area first ladies of ministries together for fellowship, discussion and support of the wives of men leading people to Christ. This event is by invitation only.

Women of the Word Bible Study

Many women have expressed the desire to delve deeper into the Word of God in a bible study group with their sisters in Christ. The Women of the Word Bible Study group meets the first Thursday of each month from 6:00 pm – 7:00 pm.  The bible study is interactive and the no “facilitator” format lends to an environment open for discussion of topics and scriptures which are provided prior to each meeting.

Oak Park Bible Study

The Ladies of PASSAGE conduct a bible study for the residents of Oak Park Assisted Living facility.  This meeting takes place on the first Monday of each month. Come out as we go beyond the four walls providing an arena to minister the Word of God for those who choose.

“Sister Talk” Book Club

Read any good books lately?  If your answer is no then we have something just for you.  The “Sister Talk” book club meets the last Friday of the month from 6:30 – 7:30 pm. With a mix of bestselling and under the radar Christian fiction and non-fiction works as selections which will target the development of women, you are sure to be blessed. “Sister Talk” offers fun, excitement and fellowship for all Ladies of PASSAGE and their guests.

“Fit Sisters”

Under the Health & Wellness umbrella we have launched “Fit Sisters”.  This program will be comprised of exercise and developing healthy eating habits.  The sessions will be held on Saturday mornings from 7:30 am – 8:30 am.  Come out and learn how to keep a working food journal, stretch, get the latest health tips, and pick up a tasty, healthy, recipe or two along your journey and so much more!

Aspire to Inspire

Aspire to Inspire, PASSAGE’s Clothing Ministry provides new to gently worn clothing and shoes to children and adults in need. This ministry also provides clothing to individuals that are preparing to go back into the job market.  All clothing items are of NO COST. Clothes are donated by a variety of people; PASSAGE Partners, friends, people throughout the community and families as far as Atlanta, Georgia. If you would like to donate please contact the Administrative Offices.

Youth Mentoring Program

This program geared to our young men and women 6 – 18 years of age aims to foster good citizenship of our youth through Christian principles.  From topics such as Family Hood, Our Time/Our Work/Our Money, Civic and Social Development, Sexuality (covered extensively in our 8 week Vow to Purity summer program) among others, the youth will  engage in activities and discussions which highlight practical skills and application of those skills.

The “Chrysalis” Women’s Sessions

This is an INNER HEALING component of the Ladies of PASSAGE women’s ministry which ministers to abused women who are in the process of being healed in some current or past emotional areas of their lives.  This is a confidential eight (8) week course that will be held away from the campus.  If you are seeking consolation, encouragement or just need someone to talk to …we are here.  If you or someone you know would benefit from this group, please contact the Administrative Office.

The Stork Mission

If you are looking for an opportunity to bless a new mother and baby…..here it is!  This mission’s focus is to convey to our new and expectant mothers that we share in the joy and celebration of the new life placed in their hands to nurture. If you are a new or expectant mother and wish to be visited by the “Stork” please contact the Administrative Offices.

Personal Outreach Mission

Let’s Soar! All ladies are asked to begin a personal campaign to win those women that you interact with on a daily basis to the Lord or to a stronger relationship with Him.  This mission team will assist in identifying women who want to volunteer and through various activities get them connected with a ministry that will allow them to utilize their gifts and talents.  If you want to get connected please contact the Administrative Office.

Christmas Fellowship

This annual fellowship is the LOP’s way to celebrate the birth of Christ.  This holiday gathering incorporates a dinner, caroling, and games to honor Christ’s birth and to extol the themes of love, peace and goodwill towards our sisters. This fellowship with the added treat of the annual gift exchange is an exciting end to a year of activities led by the LOP women’s ministry.

Annual Retreat & Quarterly Outings

All women need a break to just get away with their sisters and BREATHE!  Our retreats and outings give you just that.  Some time to breathe.  Our four day Bi-annual Retreat allows us time to fellowship with other women of PASSAGE and their guests while enjoying a relaxing first class vacation.  In addition to our Annual Retreat, every quarter the Ladies of PASSAGE get together for a full day of fellowship and fun outside of the church walls.  From bowling, to scavenger hunts, movies, dinner, one day cruises and more, we aim to find an activity that will be sure to please!
