"Praise Is What We Do!"

The Sacred Dance Ministry (Miriam's Tribe), as an extension of PASSAGE Family Church, is an energetic, expressive, joyful, and an essential part of the praise and worship experience.

Our mission is to complement the praise and worship team and usher in the presence of God through dance.

Our hope is that through our ministry, chains will be broken off the members of the congregation, and they will leave FOREVER Changed!

Praise dance prepares us to enter the NEXT DIMENSION of worship. Psalm 149:3 instructs us to “praise his name in the dance.” We therefore present our bodies as a “living sacrifice; holy and acceptable to God, which is our reasonable service,” (Romans 12:1).

We seek to dance before Him with clean hands, hearts, minds and spirits, as we may usher others into His presence. Our earnest purpose is that we can offer, without a spoken word, the clear message of hope, joy and victory over Satan! In order to minister in this vital ministry, a person must possess the following:

1. A thriving relationship with Christ
2. Completed a new members class
3. A Holy Spirit-filled life
4. Skillful ability
5. Flow, as related to praise and worship
6. A heart desirous to worship God in spirit and in truth.

Our mission as praise dancers is not to excite the congregation through mere entertainment but to serve and worship our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! Our Father seeks “Holy worshippers” to worship Him in this manner. It is our reasonable service and an honor to dance before the Lord! And remember that Jesus is our dance partner.
