As we take time to pay tribute to Jesus Christ, we must keep in mind that we have the victory and freedom over death, hell and the grave! Jesus’ resurrection is the most profound event in the history of mankind that should be celebrated daily--- not just during the Easter season. 

As we put the true meaning of Easter in perspective, it is imperative that we do not miss Jesus by becoming overly involved in the Easter frenzy of the world, which bombards us in stores, television commercials and print advertisements. Our clothes, chocolate bunnies and colored eggs and adds very little to the actual meaning of Easter.  Jesus’ ultimate sacrifice was greatest victory ever known to civilization.

In closing Pastor Dix shared the principle of BEST…

“I will give you my best, in return I expect your best!”- Deuteronomy 6:5
