Colossians 3:23- 24 Luke 17:20-21 The word assignment takes on several comparable meanings such as post, appointment, duty, mission or obligation. As Kingdom builders and we are to take our posts and awake with a daily commitment and mission to build the kingdom as our principal obligation. Whether we are establishing the God’s Kingdom in our homes, schools, neighborhoods or community, we must make a daily sacrifice to do whatever it takes emphatically reflect the Kingdom of God on earth, without a begrudging attitude (Colossians 3:23). God’s primary reason for creating mankind was to bring honor to His name and to demonstrate to Lucifer (and those one-third angels that were evicted from heaven) that God could use man to accomplish His mission in the earth. The second reason God created humanity is for us to be a reflection of who He is. As we deny who we are and begin to take on Christ’s character inside and out, we must be include God in all of our decision-making (Luke: 17:20, 21). In closing, Pastor Dix shared two revelations with the congregation about how God really feels about being an option instead of a priority in our lives:
