"We have placed our money where our mouth is and invested into the education of our children," said Senior Pastor and Founder George Dix, Jr. "This is a major milestone for the ministry and we are so excited about this opportunity." The Prime Time After School Program at PASSAGE Family Church's East Campus offers youth grades K-5th safe and well-planned activities immediately following school as well as offers special sessions to help children learn new skills and develop into accountable, productive citizens. Hours of operation for the Prime Time Program East Campus are Mon., Tues., Thurs., and Fri. 1 p.m. - 6 p.m. and Wed. from 12 p.m. - 6 p.m. The program operates on the Alachua County School Board calendar. Qualified tutors are available to assist students with reading, math, science and the arts. The program may also incorporate physical activity, new experiences such as community service, special guest speakers and presentations. The Prime Time Program fosters a safe environment where youth can thrive and achieve personal and academic goals. Our highly-trained staff is certified in CPR, and possesses state mandated childcare credentials to ensure the safety of every child. In addition, all children enrolled in the program will receive a wholesome snack. Prime Time is supported by the University of Florida, Santa Fe Community College, East Side High School, Lake Forest, Duval and P.K. Young Elementary Schools, Caring and Sharing , United Way, Junior League, United Methodist Church, other area churches, community organizations and individuals. With over 150 volunteers, most from the University of Florida, our qualified tutors and mentors are available to assist students with reading, math, science and the arts as well as FCAT Preparation. For more information about the Prime Time After School Program or to volunteer, please contact the Administrative Office at (352) 336-8686 or the School directly at (352) 372-0603. All donations received are used only for the operational cost of the school and we would like to thank you for your generous support in the past and pray that you will continue to support these children in the coming school year.
