"We have placed our money where our mouth is and invested into the education of our children," said Senior Pastor and Founder George Dix, Jr. "This is a major milestone for the ministry and we are so excited about this opportunity." The Prime Time After School Program at PASSAGE Christian Academy offers youth grades K-5th safe and well-planned activities immediately following school as well as offers special sessions to help children learn new skills and develop into accountable, productive citizens. Hours of operation for the Prime Time Program at PASSAGE Christian Academy Campus are Monday - Friday, 3 p.m. - 6 p.m. The program operates on the Alachua County School Board calendar. Qualified tutors are available to assist students with reading, math, science and the arts. The program may also incorporate physical activity, new experiences such as community service, special guest speakers and presentations. The Prime Time Program fosters a safe environment where youth can thrive and achieve personal and academic goals. Our highly-trained staff is certified in CPR, and possesses state mandated childcare credentials to ensure the safety of every child. In addition, all children enrolled in the program will receive a wholesome snack. Prime Time is supported by the University of Florida, Santa Fe College, East Side High School, Lake Forest, Duval and P.K. Young Elementary Schools, Caring and Sharing , United Way, Junior League, United Methodist Church, other area churches, community organizations and individuals. With over 150 volunteers, most from the University of Florida, our qualified tutors and mentors are available to assist students with reading, math, science and the arts as well as FCAT Preparation.
