Psalm 145:3
Romans 11:33
Isaiah 55:8

Pastor George Dix Jr. is not speaking rhetorically when he says that God has amazing things in store for us.  We can only partially perceive in our spirit the things that God has planned.  Although we are in the last 48 hours of 2007, it's not too late for God to work a miracle... not too late for Him to keep a promise.

If God said it, we have to know it can be!  We need to expect God to show a strong hand before the end of 2007.  We need to recognize the move of God.  As it says in God's word:

"For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD." - Isaiah 55:8

The answer to your situation may not be in A, B or C, as you might think.  It may just be in E, F or G.  We have to understand that God has a providential hand and is in control.  His plan for our lives and how things will transpire may not match with what we expect.  However we need be expectant and have faith that something great is going to happen in 2007.

We need to be passionate about our relationship with God. "If the fire is going to be lit, it needs to be lit under us!"  We must trust God as Shadrack, Meshack and Abednigo did.  There are many testimonies in the Bible of where God provided a saving hand "late in the midnight hour".  God's timing is perfect.  God will do what He says He will do.  We're too close now, so don't doubt God!  We are more than conquerors!

"All This" is the victory we've received.  "All This" God has done... and more.  To receive God's grace (unmerited favor), we must make sure our perspective is right.  On Wednesday, December 26th, 2007, Pastor Dix gave us 5 instructions for the final 5 days of 2007.  They were as follows:

Day 1 (Thursday, 12/27/2007) - A Time of Cleansing.  A day of repenting and confessing to God.

Day 2 (Friday, 12/28/2007) - Pray Isaiah 54:17 or Phillipians 4:13 throughout the day, depending on where you feel you are in your relationship with God.

  • If you're at the bottom and your life is in disarray, pray Isaiah 54:17
  • If you're doing well, but you want to reach a higher level in God, pray Phillipians 4:13

Day 3 (Saturday, 12/29/2007) - One hour of Consecration.  Praying, reading and meditation for one full, uninterrupted hour.

Day 4 (Sunday, 12/30/2007) - Consecrate our lives all the more to holiness.  Turn away from those things that are contrary to the will of God.  Pursue God with all that we have.

Day 5 (Monday, 12/31/2007) - With a sincere and pure heart, Witness to 5 People ("My Five") about the saving power of Jesus Christ.  Also, call 5 people and encourage them.

If God gives you what you're praying for, will it be used to advance the Kingdom?  We must align our requests (and ourselves) to God's will.  In these last hours of 2007, God will do more.  It's not a matter of whether he's able, but more are we willing to do it God's way.  We must submit to God's way of doing things.

In conclusion, Pastor George recapped the 7-point prescription for "PraiseAct":

  1. Honor the Lord with your Life.  Live holy before God an pursue righteousness.
  2. Put God first!
  3. Do it God's way and in His timing.  Be obedient!
  4. Love one another as God as loved you.
  5. Honor the Lord with thy substance and with the first fruits of thine increase (Tithes and Offerings).  God loves a cheerful giver.
  6. Fast and Pray (3-6-9).  You can fast and pray at any time.  Acknowledge to God that fasting and prayer can bring breakthrough. (Jeremiah 33: 3,6,9 and Isaiah 58: 3,6,9)
  7. Be about our Father's business and fulfill the Great Commission of spreading the Good News.
