Cheryl D. Williams, born in Lake Wales, Florida, is the daughter of the late Robert B. Howell, Jr. and Ivadene Howell. She was raised in a loving Christian family and was introduced to Christ at an early age at First Institutional Missionary Baptist Church. It was there she began serving in ministry through her participation in the children’s and young adult choirs, attending Youth Baptist Conventions, and serving in various leadership roles in the Youth Sunday School.
Cheryl became keenly aware of the call God had on life during one her most challenging times when she experienced nerve and back pain from a herniated disc and was unable to work or complete normal daily tasks for approximately 4 months. It was during this time that she totally surrendered her life to God and allowed him to guide her to complete healing and restoration both spiritually and temporally. She has served in the capacity of Associate Pastor of PASSAGE Family Church since December 8, 2013.
Her desire to honor God is the most important facet of her life. She accepted the call to become a servant leader to share the love of God; the same unconditional love, mercy, correction, and grace he has shown her. Cheryl is a the mother of two beautiful children, Matthew and Jailyn.
