Greetings in the Name of our Lord...
As the Associate Pastor of the Music, Worship & The Arts Ministry, Special Events & Special Programming we are excited about the New Year 2007! I’m speechless as we enter this New Year filled with God opportunities!
The Music Ministry at PASSAGE is inviting those who have musical gifts such as singing and/or directing to become active in Kingdom Expansion by joining one of our choirs. Last year (2006) NEXT DIMENSION (mass choir) launched a campaign to grow the choir. Not only has NEXT DIMENSION grown phenomenally but Nu Generation of Prayze is continuing to grow by leaps and bounds. 2006 gave birth to yet another choir “Joshua Generation” our newest youth choir. The Youth Praise Team strengthened its presence in 2006. The Sanctuary Praise Team has continued to set the atmosphere in the house of our God under the direction of anointed Praise & Worship Leaders undergired by gifted, dedicated and committed team members. Prepare your hearts this year for our own “Total Experience” (Gifts of the spirit) & Teaching sessions on specific topics relating to these Gifts.
Sound the Alarm!!!! Musicians, Musicians--Those who are instrumentally inclined please join us each Tuesday from 7:00 - 8:30 PM (choir rehearsal). Also, every Monday from 7:30 pm – 8:30 pm and the 1st, 3rd and 4th Thursday from 7:00 pm-9:00 pm is musician’s rehearsal.
Do you remember the original play, “Nobody’s Fault but Mine” featuring the Richter Family? Yes they were off the Richter scale during last years drama feature. The family with a host of others will return in 2007, please stay tuned, we promise you will laugh & cry but most importantly you will experience indebt personal ministry as the drama team goes forth this year—stay tuned!
When I think of His goodness and what He’s done for me I can dance, dance, and dance---I can’t forget our skilled energetic dance teams! This past year we experienced phenomenal depth(s) from all ages…Miriam’s Tribe, Small Blessings, Anointed Angels and The LAW (Lord’s Anointed Warriors). If you have not experienced the ministry of these groups, make it a point this year to be in the midst…you will be BLESSED!
Thank You “Special Events!” Our two FREE Community Fish Fry events were a huge success in 2006. We experienced our largest turnout yet! The purpose of the Community Fish Fry is to bring the Alachua County community together in fellowship. It is the heart of our Senior Pastor George Dix to feed 5,000. Giving back to the community is Pastor Dix constant heart beat, we feel we came pretty close in 2006… 2007 will be a year like never before as we extend an even greater hand into the community!
ALL that we purpose to accomplish in 2007 is The Next Dimension of ministry in accordance with the Vision the Lord has placed within our Senior Pastor's heart! Please join us by exercising your Faith in the gifting and call on your life. We invite you to get involved! These ministries are designed to grow us as believers. We solicit your fervent prayers.

PRAISE TEAM
They are anointed and appointed, providing special music during Sunday worship
service, Wednesday service and upon special request. Through the anointing,
they penetrate and pierce the hearts of many as they offer up their sacrifice
of praise.

PASSAGE Sanctuary Choir
Your heart is touched. Your soul is warmed. Your spirit is uplifted. A
choir that praises God with intensity and worships HIM whole heartedly,
giving thanks to the Lord not just for what He’s done but for WHO
HE IS in our lives. We strive to minister to the needs of God’s people
through song, prayer, unity through the Holy Spirit, and knowledge of our
Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. It is through this ministry that the saved
be encouraged, enlightened, and energized while drawing the lost into the
Kingdom of God. We welcome those who love God and have an ear for music
to become a part of this GREAT CHOIR!!!

REHEARSAL TIME:
Every Tuesday 7:00pm – 8:45pm (additional rehearsals may be scheduled)
NU Generation of PRAYZE
We are young people between the ages of 5-16 years of age. We love to
sing and give the Lord the praise that is due to him. We are young but,
we know that Jesus died for our sins and we are spreading the message through
song.
REHEARSAL TIME:
3rd and 4th Wednesdays at 6pm - 7 pm! (rehearsals begin at 6pm sharp, so make your children are there on time.)
M.O.P. (Men of PASSAGE)
We are committed to God’s purpose for our lives and will be the
priests of our household. We will be positive role models for the saved
and unsaved by the power invested in us through the Word of God. Ministering
through a VARIETY of songs, we are committed to our spiritual development.

BAND OF MUSICIANS
PASSAGE has been blessed with talented and dynamic musicians. They are
gifted and anointed to lead the entire Praise/Worship Ministry to a heightened
level of praise, worship and ministry. Their hearts and souls are sanctified,
unified, and orchestrated by the Holy Spirit allowing them to minister on
one accord to maintain a level of praise/worship that prepares the congregation
for the Word of God.
