A New Season is Dawning: Check your Wings

(Exodus 14:13-14 and 2 Chronicles 20:12-15)

Pastor George reminded the congregation that even ants and birds know when a new season is dawning. Ants begin to gather food for the winter and birds, depending on their location, will fly to another locality in preparation for the new season.

As followers of Christ we must be cognizant of new seasons and realize that in the very middle of our situations, issues and circumstances that God is going to show Himself strong; however, there is a qualifier, and that qualifier is: the willingness to obey.

“Ain’t nobody” mad but the Devil because he knows what God is bringing forth in our lives! As we go about our daily routine we must remember two important items:

  1. If God be for you (not man, nor Buddha), who can be against you?! (Romans 8:31)
You have to get an attitude with the Devil and call Him a liar!
  2. God is revealing a new season through visions and His word (Exodus 3:14-15)

In closing, Pastor George reminded everyone to remember what’s under their feet—dominion authority (Psalms 8:6) and the blessings and curses of obedience (Deuteronomy 11:22-28).

Quote of the sermon:

“As long as you say ‘my way or the highway, God can’t have His way.’"- Pastor George Dix Jr.

A New Season is Dawning (Part 3)

(Deuteronomy 11:13-17 and Galatians 6:9 )

God knows us, He loves us and wants to do a new thing in us (Isaiah 43:19). Pastor George Dix began his message by reminding us that we must position ourselves so that God can have his way in our lives. God is not diminished by our circumstances for "God is still God", whether it rains or shines. If God (Jehovah-Sabboath, commander of Angelic armies) delivered Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego (Daniel 3), we know He can move mountains in our lives. God is able!

God knows your every step and he knows what it will take to get you out of the mess you've gotten yourself into.

Pastor went on to say, that as sure as we're sitting here today, there is a shift going on in the spirit realm. God has been waiting for us to "get into position". We're not going to be where we are for much longer. Major breakthroughs are about to be birthed in our lives. When the shift happens, you don't want to be "on the wall" as a spectator. God wants you to be a participant in the "5 fold release".

God has given us the combination to the lock and he wants to release His spirit in a powerful way. If you don't know God, get to know Him and "come clean with God".

The Lord has preparing us for this shift for a long time now (John 14) . Perhaps you haven't been in tune with what God has been saying to you. Don't stand on Man's word and remind blind. Stand on God's Word and see! (2 Corinthians 4:4-7)

Our wings need to be strengthened. No more excuses. God says "Come to Me as you are!"

In closing, Pastor listed the ways we can prepare to come into the New Season:

  1. Don't worship other "gods" (i.e. any person or thing that you focus on more than God).
  2. Act like you know who you are and who God is!
  3. Praise God! Find that new joy!
  4. Get some fire in your bones! (Jeremiah 20:9) Seek eagerly the presence of God and worship Him from deep in your belly!
  5. Trust God no matter what. If your situation looks bad, don't be weary in your well doing (Galatians 6:9)

Quote of the sermon:

“Satan is about to lose some territory!" - Pastor George Dix Jr.
