“From Glory to Glory and Faith to Faith.”

Pastor Dix ushered us into the Glory of God during his sermon entitled “From Glory to Glory and Faith to Faith.” (2 Corinthians 3:18 & Romans 1:16-17)

The Apostle Paul made Satan’s plan of attack on the Kingdom of God quite clear: The devil’s objective is to put plugs in our ears and a veil on our face to impair us and keep us out of the Glory of God! We are in a continuous state of change because the Word of God allows the scales to be lifted off our eyes! So allow God to do a NEW thing in you! Pastor Dix informed us that only God’s word can turn on a light in each of us. As a result of the Glory of God living within us, that light should illuminate our homes, neighborhoods, communities, jobs and in the lives of our children. When we go for our spiritual fill up, we should have enough oil in our lanterns that they continue to burn, especially since we are FOREVER changed as a result of every experience we have with God, NEVER to be the same again!

We must do as Paul did: He recognized the enemy and kept heaven in view. Paul instructed us to keep looking forward by "forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead" (Philippians 3:13).

The enemy uses our past to prevent Kingdom expansion. He reminds us of our old nature to stunt our spiritual growth; thereby, preventing us from moving forward through plaguing our minds with fear, guilt, shame and disbelief. The devil IS a LIAR because the Word of God states: “THERE IS therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the spirit (Romans 8:1).”

Pastor Dix brought it home when he said that the sins of our past should be faint, yet a victorious memory (2 Corinthians 4:17).

It is imperative to know that God is trying to usher us into His Glory. In His glory we will find ourselves in the next dimension, which is an ever expanding realm of glory, power and provision. God wants you to understand that the life we live is not about us, but Kingdom work (Philippians 1:6).

Quote of the sermon:

“There is absolutely NOTHING in your past that is worth going back to... so LET IT GO!” - Pastor George Dix Jr.

“From Glory to Glory and Faith to Faith.”

Pastor Dix took us "From Glory to glory and Faith to Faith", during Part 2 of his anointed message. (2 Corinthians 3:18 & Romans 1:16-17)

Pastor Dix described Paul as being much like David.A man after God's own heart. Paul wasn't a socialite and he definitely wasn't a person who simply went through the motions, just for the sake of saying he was a Christian. Paul wanted to experience God no matter what the cost! He made it clear when he said "For to me to live is Christ, to die is gain! The apostle Paul wasn't satisfied with his comfort zone because he wanted to move into the kingdom zone, better yet, Paul was a NEXT DIMENSION man.

In order for us to get where Paul was, we need ask God two things. First, what do you want me to get out of this situation? And secondly, how can I, in the midst of this, lift my hands and give you glory? We must learn to go through and not complain .remember, that it is easier to get God's attention through worship rather than constant complaints.

Whenever we hear a word from Pastor Dix or another vessel of God, we should open our hearts and allow the Chief Surgeon (Jesus, MD) and His staff (the Father and the Holy Spirit) to perform open heart surgery (spiritual transformations), and in some cases a life-saving heart transplant. As Pastor Dix said "God wants to do a work in us but we have to get ourselves out of the way first." God doesn't want people showing themselves but instead the Lord wants the world to see him in us, on us and through us; and projecting out of us. God's ultimate desire is to make us glorious! God wants the world to see his Glory! For the world to see what God is doing in us, we must discontinue with the vain solicitations and seek His face. We should desire the anointing because it empowers us and God's glory disables you and enables Him!

Lastly, Pastor Dix said that the only way out of our stressful situations is in the presence of God because in His presence we'll find safety and peace. Furthermore, we will also experience joy UNSPEAKABLE!

Quote of the Sermon:

"When you get into God's glory, the devil can't touch you." - Pastor George Dix
