“Victory is Yours!: Do You Want It ” (Part 6 of "VICTORY!")
Joshua 1:8
Psalm 1:1-3
1 Corinthians 15:57
Pastor George asked us: What else does God have to do to prove that he's real?
Over the past 6 years, God has been doing something in us to bring us to that appointed place in Him. The promises of God are "Yea" and "Amen". They are absolute, guaranteed and cannot fail. Everything God has promised can come to fruition in our lives.
"God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?" - Numbers 23:19
Too many of us come and go to church, yet are living beneath our privilege. Victory is ours if we want it. If we want to experience that ever expanding realm of abundant power, glory and provision, it's ours if we want it.
"Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us..." - Ephesians 3:20
Satan wants us to feel defeated. Do you want to be a Next Dimension dweller? Well, talk is cheap. The telltale sign of what we truly want is seen in our daily choices! We either live God's way or our way... put God first or ourselves first. There are no shades of grey when it relates to who comes first in our lives. Any talk about wanting to experience God's best, but still putting ourselves first, is just cheap double talk. How do we live at home and at work? How do we treat others throughout the day?
"And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD" - Joshua 24:15
Honor God and He will honor you. If we dishonor God, we allow ourselves to be cursed as Adam and Eve were. We need to get out of our comfort zone and into the Kingdom Zone! Honor God and worship Him with your life.
Those who are faithful in little, are faithful in much. Be a good steward over what God has blessed you with.
To be a good steward, you must:
- Show God that He's first. Tithe off the top!
- Budget some money to spend on yourself.
- Pay your bills.
- Open a savings account and invest.
In closing, Pastor George gave us a list of ways to walk in Victory with God:
- Accept and believe in God's Word.
- Meditate on God's Word day and night.
- Obey the Word
- Speak the Word, it's your sword!

“It's Gotta Happen (No Ifs, Ands or Buts)
Numbers 23:19
Pastor George Dix Jr. reminded us of God's sovereignty and steadfastness. When God's word enters our heart, it reveals things and gives LIGHT. It also goes forth and gives LIFE. God and His word are one.
"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God." - John 1:1
If God says I'm your deliverer, your healer, that's what He means. We should look into the mirror of God's word and see the promises that God has prepared for us. As we study the Word, we position ourselves for God to manifest Himself in us daily.
"We walk by faith and not by sight" - 2 Corinthians 5:7
When your heart is receptive, your faith increases. We must remember that God is a covenant God. He had covenants with Noah, Abraham, David and of course... Us! As believers, we need to feel a resurrection in our heart if we want to hear God. Regardless of our past, He's knocking at our heart's door.
"We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair." - 2 Corinthians 4:8
God is faithful and is waiting to do a NEW thing in us, but He's waiting for us to R.U.N. (are you in... position), and we should expect new things from God.
"Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth" - Isaiah 43:19
God will do what He says, no matter what it looks like. You've got to SAY something!
"For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith." - Mark 11:23
Lastly, Pastor George encouraged our hearts that if the Bible says it (Numbers 23:19), then it's a solemn agreement!

“From Canaan to the Kingdom"
Joshua 1:1-2, 10-11, 16-18
Luke 12:32
Pastor George Dix Jr. began this week's message by reminding us that God opened the door of equality. He understands our current condition and He's positioning us for a greater outpouring of His spirit. God is doing something in us. Submit to God and be eager to hear His voice.
"If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land" - Isaiah 1:19
Assess your life and reflect on whether you're being willing and obedient.
Pastor George then had us ask ourselves this question: What am I missing due to my lack of obedience?
When God delivered the Israelites, He showed Himself strong. In His covenant with them, he also wanted to give them something better (Canaan). What are you facing in your life? Emotional bondage? Financial bondage? Remember, God never sent a message to people conditionally. It only should have taken the Israelites 40 days to get to the 'Promised Land', but because of their disobedience, it took them 40 years. Joshua eventually inherited Moses' charge and took the Israelites across the Jordan and into Canaan. (Joshua 1:1-2, 10-11, 16-18)
Don't focus on the river Jordan. Get to Canaan! If God promises it to you, follow His instructions and follow His plan. It's a faith walk! Do it God's way, in God's timing.
God's promises are true and He requires our obedience. When you take a step, God will protect and watch over you. The Israelites stepped into the Jordan on faith. Go possess it! Don't wait on anyone to tell you that you're blessed. God has a 'Promised Land' for you! By the Summer, some of us will be beyond Canaan!
Remember, God has specific instructions and timing. Even if it doesn't make sense to us, if God said to do it, you'll be ok. God already has the answer for you, your 'Promised Land' is there. He's giving us the prescription for our success ("I am the ultimate deliverer").
God is Jehovah Sabboath, the commander of the Angelic Host. He has an army at his disposal ready for you, so you don't have to worry about a thing. (The Fall of Jericho - Joshua 5:13-15, 6:1-27)
In conclusion, Pastor George Dix Jr, reminded us that Canaan was not the end of the promise, but the beginning! It is "God's good pleasure to give us the Kingdom" (Luke 12:32). Stop worrying! Do it like God says. God has your blessing and simply wants your obedience.
