“Then He said unto them, Go your way, eat the fat, and drink the sweet, and send portions unto them for whom nothing is prepared: for this day is holy unto our Lord: neither be ye sorry; for the joy of the Lord is your strength.” (Nehemiah 8:10)
Evangelist Lorraine "Punch" Benjamin-Baldwin
At an early age, Evangelist Lorraine “Punch” Benjamin-Baldwin was inspired by the Holy Ghost to be about the business of soul winning. In the beginning, her ministry was to spiritually electrify congregations as she sang. Then God revealed to her a higher calling; she began to do more witnessing, telling people about the power and goodness of the Lord. Punch buried herself in the word of God, expanded her prayer life, gave up her secular job and told the Lord, “I’ll go.” She began fulltime ministry in 1994, conducting revivals across the land, touching, reaching, convicting and captivating men and women with the word of God.
One of Punch’s most memorable accomplishments was to do her live recording entitled “Step Back and Let God Do It,” featuring the world renown, Rev. Milton Biggham, founder and director of the Georgia Mass Choir (Grammy Award Winners). During the year of 2002 Punch became a member of the Georgia Mass Choir and performed in a live recording of the choir. She is featured singing two selections on their album. One of the selections entitled, “Bye & Bye,” grew to be the #1 hit song on the album. “Bye & Bye” put the Georgia Mass Choir in the top 10 albums on the billboard charts. Punch has had the opportunity to perform the song on BET, the Word Network, and at the New York State Fair. The album is the fastest selling album on the Malaco/Savoy label.
As a result of the hit song, “Bye & Bye,” Punch has traveled throughout the United States. She also has performed on such major events as the Black Heritage Awards in Atlanta, GA, and the Gospel Music Workshops of America in Detroit, MI and is now featured most Sunday morning on Video Gospel, leading the hit song “Bye & Bye” with the Georgia Mass Choir. Punch was also blessed to perform the song on the Television Broadcasting Network (TBN).
She is a member of Church of God by Faith, Palatka, Florida under the leadership of Pastor Philip Thomas, Sr. She is also the president and founder of PowerPak Ministries, Inc.
Associate Pastor Eugene "Billy" Phillips, Jr.
As a child it was said to Pastor Phillips mother, “Your son is special.” Often the church mothers would say to him, “Son, the Lord is going to use you some day.” At an early age Pastor Phillips would have phenomenal spiritual experiences where it became evident that God was dealing directly with his heart concerning music and worship. He has always loved church, the people of God and working in the church. He was saved at the age of seventeen and thus began his journey. Pastor Phillips has directed choirs and had been singing for years with family and friends, it was the thing he felt most effective doing in the house of God and it seemed to bless the body of Christ.
In 1996, God gave him the name of his ministry in a vision…Worldwide Worship Ministries, Inc. Daily with clarity, God is defining His purpose for this name and the ministry. In 2002 the ministry was incorporated. This act of God strengthened Pastor Phillips call to Praise & Worship. Through Praise & Worship and the Prophetic Gift, the presence of God would manifest Himself as Pastor Phillips would lead the church into the awesome presence of God.
Pastor Phillips served in the worship ministry @ Sanctuary of Praise, Orlando, Florida under the leadership of Pastor Jonathan McKnight. He also served as Assistant Pastor at Love Center Ministries, Longwood, Florida. He was led to PASSAGE Family Church in 2003 under the tutelage of Pastor George & Lady Michele Dix. He has served as Praise & Worship leader, Assistant Minister of Music and is currently the Associate Pastor for Music, Worship & Arts and Special Events and Special Programming. He was licensed and ordained in April 2006.
Pastor Phillips theme for this women’s conference is, “COVER ME…A Man’s Point of View” Part II – “You, Me & HIM” was inspired through the tutelage of some great women. His mother, Mother Claretha Dix and the late Pastor Vivian McKnight have imparted a mantle of wisdom and sensitivity to women that has enabled him to minister to women where they are … married, single and single parent, by encouraging their faith in our God.
It is his purpose and goal during this conference to give insight and add strength to the woman’s position as she stands ready to receive from her helpmate and her Lord…who do you think has the Greater vice? You (men) or Him (God)?
