Salary : $11.00/hr + DOE

Job Description

With a passion for excellence in childcare, the Preschool Lead Teacher teaches Christian principles, sparks the imagination, builds self-esteem, and creates an atmosphere of discovery within the students. Our Preschool Lead Teacher is a role model for our students and works to maintain a clean and safe classroom environment. Responsibilities include: planning and implementing the daily lesson plan, documenting learning activities and projects, joining students during meal and snack times to model table manners, and working with their classroom assistant.  Come Soar With Us!

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED; 

  • DCF 45 hours, Part 1 & 2 (Introduction to Childcare);

  • Ability to pass DCF Level 2 background and drug test

  • CPR/First Aid Certification;

  • Must be detail oriented;

  • Must be proficient in the English language with good written and verbal communication skills;

  • Demonstrates initiative and ability to solve problems;

  • Microsoft Office (preferred).
